SuperCare is an affordable health cover service that gives users access to quality healthcare through teleconsultations with licensed doctors, prescription medications, and hospicash benefits for hospital stays.
Who is SuperCare for?
Anyone who wants affordable access to quality healthcare from anywhere in Nigeria. SuperCare is currently available for adults aged 18 and above.
How long does my cover last?
Your SuperCare plan runs for the period you subscribed to. It continues subject to uninterrupted premium payment and is subsequently renewable.
Is SuperCare approved by the National Health Insurance Scheme?
Yes. SuperCare is approved by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Are the doctors qualified?
Yes. All doctors are fully licensed by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and are members of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
Is SuperCare for emergencies?
SuperCare supports medical guidance and care but does not replace emergency services. In life-threatening situations, visit the nearest hospital immediately.

How do I subscribe to SuperCare?
You can subscribe through supported partner platforms by following the instructions provided on the platform. Auto-renewal options are available to help ensure uninterrupted access.
Can I subscribe for my children or dependents?
Currently, SuperCare is available only for adults aged 18 and above. Family and bundled plans are being deployed.
When does my cover become active?
A waiting period of two working days applies to pharmacy and hospitalisation benefits. There is no waiting period for telemedicine. This applies only to a first purchase or a renewal where the policy has elapsed beyond two weeks.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Subscription management, including cancellation and auto-renewal settings, can be handled on the platform where you subscribed.

What does my SuperCare plan cover?

Can I speak to a doctor more than once in a month?
Yes. SuperCare offers unlimited teleconsultations, allowing you to speak to a doctor as often as needed.
How long do I have to wait to speak to a doctor?
The typical wait time is 2 to 10 minutes. During peak periods it may take up to 15 minutes.
What is not covered?
Hospital admissions attributed to self-inflicted injury, war, participation in riots or demonstrations, or abuse of alcohol or illegal drugs are not covered.
Claims
What is Hospicash?
Hospicash is a cash benefit paid to you for hospital stays. It helps cover incidental costs during hospitalisation such as meals, transportation, and other out-of-pocket expenses.
How much can I receive as Hospicash?
SuperCare provides ₦60,000 per month as hospicash, which can be claimed once per month for verified hospital stays.
How do I claim Hospicash?
Notify the HMO within two weeks of discharge and provide an official signed and stamped medical report showing the admission date, discharge date and treatment received, together with a hospital invoice or receipt bearing the patient's full name. Once verified, the benefit is disbursed according to the claim procedure.
Are there limits to claiming Hospicash?
Yes. Claims are limited to once per month and are subject to verification of the hospitalisation.
Can I claim Hospicash for any hospital?
Hospicash claims must relate to hospital stays within the approved partner network.
How do I get my prescribed medication?
After your consultation, the doctor may prescribe medication based on the medical assessment. Medication is dispensed once every 30 days and will either be delivered or made available for pickup at a nearby partner pharmacy, depending on availability and location.
Does my medication pickup code expire?
No. Medication pickup codes do not expire.
Can I pick up my medication from any pharmacy?
You will be directed only to partner pharmacies that have the prescribed medication.
Can I choose a different medication from what was prescribed?
No. Medications dispensed must strictly follow the doctor's prescription.
What happens if my medication is unavailable?
You will only be directed to pharmacies that have the prescribed medication in stock.
How long does claim processing take?
Claims are typically processed within 24 to 72 hours.

Yes. Teleconsultations are available nationwide and partner pharmacies are assigned based on your location.
